Description(s):
The pMSCV-EGFR (L718Q, T790M, L858R) vector contains EGFR with the L718Q, T790M, and L858R mutations under the MSCV promoter for high expression in hematopoietic, HEK293, and stem cells. Downstream of the mutant EGFR gene is a DYKDDDDK-tag for Western blotting. Furthermore, the coGFP under the EF1 promoter can be used as a selection marker with stable cell lines. The base vector is a modified pMSCV vector with the LTRs and the lentiviral packaging signal (Ψ) removed for standard expression. For retroviral expression systems, please see our ELM series or contact customer support.
Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor that plays a critical role in regulating cell division and death. The EGFR L718Q, T790M, L858R mutations involve point mutations that changes a L (Leu) into an Q (Gln) at point 718, a L into an R (Arg) at point 858, and a T (Thr) into an M (Met) at point 790.
We offer a collection of unique cloning and expression cDNA vectors contain WT and mutated EGFR gene. These mutations are clinically approved and are under further investigation by many researchers. Our high quality vectors are fully sequenced and are ready to use. We also offer custom cloning services for your specific construct needs.
